ZEISS has acquired 100 % of Carl Zeiss Optec Vertriebs GmbH shares, and thus is consolidating its presence in Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, and other CIS countries. Carl Zeiss Optec Vertriebs GmbH is a long-standing sales and equipment maintenance partner of Carl Zeiss group of companies in these countries. With this acquisition, ZEISS plans on focusing on the strategic market development in Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Armenia.
The Regional Sales and Service Centre (SSC) will continue to provide general services to clients, which reflects well on the brand promise, and offer products, services and ZEISS solutions, including supplementary value-added product portfolio by third-party vendors.
